Potternavi GPS for Bikes

According to Pioneer, this Potternavi a GPS device for bikes. It features a 2.4 inch color LCD with 320 x 240, ANT + support, acceleration sensor, USB ports, and up to 10 hours of battery life.

The Potternavi not only displays maps and provides directions, but also allows users to look for popular spots nearby such as restaurants or stores. It even shows tips about healthy biking, indicating which action burns the most calories, for instance. The device, which is available in white or black, supports 3G provided by NTT Docomo, Japan’s biggest mobile carrier.

Pioneer plans to make Potternavi available for Japanese retail in February 2012 with a suggested cost equivalent to US$527. Users get first two years of 3G data free of charge. Meanwhile, the device will also hit the United States and Europe by Summer 2012.
